The outdoor camera included in this kit is equipped with Infrared LED’s. The LED’s cast out infrared light the human eye cannot see, but the camera can. During the day the camera produces vivid color video, when the light level drops below a minimum point the camera automatically switches the IR system on. The camera then produces very high quality black and white night vision video.

LCD Monitor - Not Included
We offer widescreen LCD monitors that operate exceptionally well with our systems, but we do not package them with our kits. The variety of low cost monitors on the market is incredible and any standard or wide screen LCD monitor or TV with a VGA or HDMI input will operate with this DVR (HDMI is recommended). Add the monitor to your purchase or provide your own; either way we support you 100%.

Video Storage & Hard Drives
The DVR stores the video footage on an internal hard drive. The size of the drive and the recording options determine the total number of days the system can store. Typically a 1 Terabyte hard drive can store 2+ weeks of footage for 4 cameras. Setting all cameras to record only when motion is detected can more than double the storage capacity. We offer the option of us installing a hard drive in the DVR for you or you can provide your own.

This system includes an 8 gigabyte USB flash drive. The unit serves two purposes; first we pre-load every quick-start-guide, user manual and reference guide we offer. Simply plug the the unit into a USB port on any computer and you have instant access to every manual. But the main purpose is to provide a quick and easy way to transfer selected video files to another computer or for the police. The video below explains.
